Hello!  I am Amanda, a graduate student in American History at George Mason University.  Thanks for visiting my blog!

My major interests include the American Civil War and the Old South. 

I work at Arlington House, the Robert E. Lee Memorial (it’s the big house on top of the hill in the middle of Arlington Cemetery).  It is managed by the National Park Service where rangers give talks about the house and the Lee family.  There is also a museum and slavery exhibits on the property.  Let me know if you want to drop by.
